Imagine waking each day to a hearty home cooked breakfast, then climbing aboard one of Cedar Lodge's Helicopters which takes you on a spectacular flight through soaring mountain passes, over ancient cascading glaciers, above pastoral river valleys and frozen mountain lakes, to one of our secret and exclusive spots, where you and your guide embark on a day of hiking.
You'll enjoy lunch in a hanging valley, in the shadow of towering mountain peaks, surrounded by native alpine flowers. And you will learn all there is to know about the geography of the area, its history, the fauna and flora, the wildlife including many birds native only to New Zealand.
At the end of the day, your chariot (in the form of a chopper) arrives to whisk you back to the comforts of Cedar Lodge, where you'll enjoy a hot shower and then sit down to a gourmet dinner with your fellow guests to discuss the day's events.
